Coy “Edgar” Johnson

Master Cosmetologist

A life-long South Carolina resident and Kenneth Shuler School of Cosmetology graduate, Edgar enjoys exploring the small yet exciting things in life through greenery and art. His passion for beauty started in the performing arts. Youth theatre allowed him to assist with hair, makeup, and costume design, which helped him find his passion and encouraged him to become a cosmetologist.

Our resident perm specialist, Edgar's own ringlets inspired him to learn more about assisting and educating clients who have or want curly locks. His goal is to show you the beauty and excitement of having curly hair through treatments, cuts, and styles.

When he is not in the salon, you can find Edgar shopping, taking care of his plants, telling corny jokes, or singing Broadway showtunes at the top of his lungs. He looks to add fun and excitement to all activities and each service!
